How Can I Evaluate Lexxe?
Unlike evaluating biotechnologies, where you must have professional knowledge, equipment and chemicals, one doesn't have to be a search engine expert or a computer programmer to evaluate a search engine. As long as you have used search engines and know how to get information out of the search results, you are qualified to evaluate search engines.
Basically all what you need is a set of keywords for the test, say anywhere between 50-100 keywords to search with. For each search, it could be a single keyword or a few keywords together. It is not a good idea to try just a couple of searches and jump into conclusions on a search engine.
For each search, you can examine the first 10, first 20, or first 30 results and see how many of them are relevant to what you want.
If you want to compare Lexxe with other search engines, you can search with the same keyword set on other search engines and record the scores from them, so that you can compare the results.
