Lexxe develops sentiment analysis technology

Lexxe has developed sentiment analysis technology through its R&D activities over the past few months. It is one of the very few such technologies in the world that applies all the four levels of Natural Language technologies in a sentiment analysis system, namely lexical, grammatical, semantic and discourse analysis. This gives the system an extraordinarily competitive edge over other systems of the same kind.
The system is able to automatically score a text with positive and negative values, plus the intensity of them. It can also extract named entities from texts, classify them and score them with positive and negative values. Relationship between the named entitities and relevancy between named entities and texts can also be presented.
Texts can be classified into categories into 12 categories. Graphics can be automatically generated to help illustrate the sentiment values.
