News Search Made Available by Lexxe

News Search is now a new type of search available for public use for the first time on Lexxe's main website. News search will allow users to ask short questions on something current and something that has just happened and get a short answer. Users will not get as much outdated information as one may in a general search.
Dr. Hong Liang Qiao, CEO of Lexxe Pty Ltd explained that this is an early exercise for Lexxe to research and develop its vertical search capabilities. Vertical search is a terminology in information retrieval meaning search within a specific domain or genre of texts, for example, news, finance, health service, etc.
Also: Lexxe offered combined web and site search tools to websites in June 2006 and International Search Service in July 2006.
