Software Engineer / Senior Software Enginee [Job ID: 0801]
Lexxe is a 3rd generation search engine powered by advanced Natural Language technology. The successful applicant will work in several related areas of search engine, namely crawling, indexing and search. He/she should be able to work independently and as a team player. We are looking for a creative professional, who is passionate about search innovation, to join our team.
Essential:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent (MSc and PhD a plus).
- Several years of software development experience.
- Experience with Unix/Linux, C/C++ development, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming and/or developing large software systems a plus.
- Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of search engine technology.
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing.
- Knowledge of Question Answering.
- Knowledge of a foreign language.
- Team player and also independent problem solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
