Search engines are becoming an increasingly important type of media for advertising, which is more focused, relevant and interactive than traditional media like newspaper, radio and TV.
Lexxe is a 3rd generation Internet search engine based in Sydney, Australia, with a search scope of the whole world. This means that our advertising business will also become a world wide business. The responsibility of the Business Manager of Lexxe Pty Ltd is to develop a large client base for Lexxe in advertising business. The incumbent will oversee the business development activities of Lexxe Search Engine and play an important role in such a demanding position.
Essential:
- Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree(s) or relevant experience
- Professional management skills
- Experience in Internet related business and marketing
- Proven record and ability in business and marketing success
- Passion for search engine advertising business and marketing
- Experience in SEO (search engine optimisation) is a plus
- Extensive connections in the business world
- Skills in client relation buildup
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of search engine technology
- Knowledge of international business practice, e.g. U.S.A, U.K.
- Ability to discover and explore new business opportunities
- Ability to open new business territory within a short period of time
