Software Engineer [Job ID: 0604]
Essential:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MS and PhD a plus).
- Several years of software development experience.
- Experience with Unix/Linux, C++ development, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming and/or developing large software systems a plus.
- Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
- Unix system and scripting language (Shell, Perl, Javascript, Python)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of search engine technology.
- Knowledge of HTML specification.
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing and statistics.
- Team player and also independent problem solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
